Custom molded seating allows us to capture much more aggressive positioning needs for meeting pressure relief and positioning options that cannot be met with standard cushions. The patient is positioned in a simulation frame where our ATP and the therapist can optimize the best position for more support and comfort.
Once the shape has been created we digitize the mold and send to manufacturer to have the cushions created to fit the patient. These seating systems can be used for manual chairs as well as power chairs.
